How to change the default list view for a Task-extended reference field

Hi Community,

I'm building a custom application and have a table which extends the Task table. I then have another custom table which uses a reference field to select records from the extended table.

The problem I'm facing is that the list view for this reference defaults to the Task Reference List view and I can't seem to find a way to change it without messing with the Global List View.

Any ideas, suggestions or solutions?

Easiest way to do this is to run the form, invoke this reference list of values. On the modal that pops up the list of values, right click on the header and configure the list. Those changes will be applicable only for reference list views, and not the global task list view.
