How to communicate via ServiceNow to end use

Hi developers,
I have received a new use case. We have a form to handle password reset. Is there a way to provide the reset password safely from ServiceNow to end user?
It would be great if the resolver can provide the password in ServiceNow and ServiceNow could take care of the communication part, no matter in encrypted worknotes or other functions or even trigger an email to requestor. Any solutions are welcome.

thank you for guiding me. If I use ServiceNow as a portal to provide password reset service to other application. after the password reset request submitted, I want to communicate the other application password to the requestor via ServiceNow. is such application available?
