How to configure Email Read Receipt on ServiceNow Outbound emails, and how to receive and process the reverted receipts?

Quick Description:
We have to send emails from Servicenow asking for read-receipts, and when the emails are opened by the receipients on their email client, the read receipts will be sent back to Servicenow and the same should be processed and displayed on respective tickets.

(I understand the later part can be done by the 'Inbound email actions'), but we are doubtfull on how to send emails with read-receipt feature?

As far as I know read-receipt is not a functionality available in ServiceNow. Read-receipt is a functionality that is not guaranteed and works only with some email applications.

This is a very old thread, but there is a fresh solution Email Tracking for ServiceNow.

Already using it! Works great, so I can receive a read receipts and check statistics also.

can you please share the link, as link mentioned above is not working.
