Hi All,
In the Now mobile app(New York release) global search, I wanted to be able to search for requests, incidents, and changes.
What I did:
- Under "Search Configurations" -> "NowMobile App Search Configurations" -> "Application Search Sources" related list, I created 3 search sources with sources as "Requests", "Incidents", "Change Requests"
- Tried searching for Incident/change/request/ritm numbers in the global search of the Home page - Didn't get any results
- Tried searching with short descriptions of Incident/change (just in case) - Didn't get any results
Queries:
- Am I doing it wrong? or is there more configuration that need to be done to get it working?
- Had anyone already tried this?
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.
**Note: added screenshots to show and existing change record, and global searching not giving results when searched for that number
Thanks!

I created changes search source in "ServiceNow NowMobile App - Search Configurations" application scope.
I also tried to create an Incident search source in "ServiceNow NowMobile App Screens and Applet Launcher" application scope.
Both didn't give any results for me.
Did it worked for you!!

They mentioned that this issue is not going to be addressed in this Release(New York) and there is no ETA on when it will be fixed.
