How to copy complete catalog item to an update set?

Hi Community,

I want to take a backup of a catalog item. How can I copy complete catalog item to an update set?

You may want to try this. It allows you to add stuff to update sets.

Just know that you may have to use this to add any variables, UI Polices, client scripts, etc. as well.

Hi @nirwan_ritik ,

You can achieve this functionality by 2 ways 

1. Create new update set - All< Local update set. Create new button and make it current update set, than create new catalog item and it will capture in your new update set like below image

I create new catalog item and it captures in update set 

 

2. If your catalog item is already created and captured in default update set than you can open your update set in new window

Than change the update set by multiple select. Check below image for reference.

Hi @nirwan_ritik ,

 

You can Create a new Local update set and make it current and go to catalog item and click on Copy ui action at the Top this will copy all the catalog item related updates to Update set,
