How to deactivate or hide 'Save as Draft' on catalog items

How to deactivate or hide 'Save as Draft' on catalog items that's enabled automatically on Washington DC.

I know we can set Hide 'Save as Draft' field to true on the catalog items, but I want to know if there's any other way to do it instead of updating each and every item.

That will be more better option, my personal thought, bcz for UI policy / Client script you need to write code.

That's a great addition from @Dr Atul G- LNG and @Anurag Tripathi . If you don't want to go with the scripting or UI policy method then you should go with the modification of the system property as suggested.

To hide the "Save as Draft" button on all catalog items, follow these steps:

1. Go to Service Portal Designer
2. Select pages
3. Navigate to /$spd.do#/sp/editor/sc_cat_item/e2656985ff630200ba13ffffffffff68
4. Check the "Hide Save as Draft button" option

This action should hide the "Save as Draft" button on all catalog items.
