How to deactivate Workflow?

I have created a copy of an existing workflow for change_request-Normal. I have made some modification into it. I have check out original workflow and also inactive it, Still that workflow is executing. How u stop it from executing so that I can test me new workflow.??

It Out of box workflow, I am told not to modify it. Anyways I got my answer. Its executing bcoz that workflow is included in another workflow which is active and published.
