How to debug Servicenow custom mobile app

We have a custom mobile app to handle tasks in a table

 

One of the functions is to reassign the tasks. It works in dev and uat, but in prod we get the error "Cannot execute the action" when trying to edit a task

 

I've checked that the table has checked "can update" in prod as in dev, and checked that the users have the correct roles. 

 

Is there a way I can debug this? I don't see anything in the system logs when attempting to edit a task
