Hello,
I've applied My Request Filter to the description field in the Portal under My Requests. We are currently dealing with an issue related to excessively long descriptions. Is it possible to retrieve only the first 100 characters from the description field to ensure that the page does not appear cluttered? Thank you

If it is a portal, you may need to make changes to the widget to do a substring before showing on the widget.
Is this the out of box My Request widget you are using?

Hi @SanjivMeher ,
It is not an out-of-the-box My Request widget. The widget was modified by a vendor to fit our needs.
Could you please provide suggestions on how we can make changes to the widget to reduce the number of characters? Thank you

Sorry, @SanjivMeher
I provided you with incorrect information. I confirmed it with our team and it is the out-of-the-box My Request Widget that we are currently using.
Here is what it looks like.

This doesnt look like the widget. it says breadcrumb widget.
There should be a widget for My Requests. Also in the widget do you have option to show the short description, instead of description. That would avoid the need to making customization.
