Hi All,
I have no idea how to enable Approval flow for new content request. In the content Request form it shows all the levels as (New , Assigned , Work in Progress , In Review , Ready to Publish & Complete). But it always stays is New state & not moving to any other state. I have tried to add managers through Manage Approver in Content item form, but it just adds approver & not changing the state.
Thanks
Chitra

Hi @chitrat
Let's try a simple method:
- Start from "New."
- Fill in the Assignment Group and Assigned To fields.
- Manually change the state to Assigned.
- Then, transition from Assigned to In Progress.
- Next, move from In Progress to Review, then from Review to Ready to Publish, and finally to Closed.
During this manual transition, check if you receive any automatic approvals. Also, you can verify in Flow Designer if there’s any flow mapped to this table.
Additionally, go to Now Create and search for this module in the Asset section. You may find a PowerPoint presentation that outlines the full workflow.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.

Thanks much for your time & response. I have checked the system, and i do not see any flows associated with this table.
So it will not be moved automatically? Is there a way that these state will be changed automatically based on the activity happening on the content.
Regards

Hi @chitrat
So, if there is no flow or code, it will not move forward. However, sometimes, if there is no flow, the code might be written on a UI action. Please follow the lifecycle as I mentioned and check whether it is moving or not.
If my response proves useful, please indicate its helpfulness by selecting " Accept as Solution" and " Helpful." This action benefits both the community and me.
