We have a table where records progress through multiple states, and each state has several validations that must be satisfied before the record can move to the next state. Since the table contains more than 300 fields, managing and identifying the required fields for each state transition can be challenging for users.
To improve the user experience, we have implemented a contextual sidebar with a dedicated tab that displays the field names, using Card Components, for the fields that need to be populated before the record can transition to the next state.
As a further UX enhancement, we have a requirement that when a user clicks on a particular validation card in the sidebar, they should be taken directly to the corresponding field on the form, or the field should be brought into focus. This would allow the user to quickly identify and populate the required field without having to manually search through the form.
Please let me know if there is a way to achieve this mainly in Workspace.
