How to Greyed Out past dates for a Date type variable

Hi All,

Can anyone please help to grey out past dates for Date type variable on Portal and Classic view.

 I don't want to change my variable into widget. Is there any other way to do it? 

I am doing validation on it but i need it to be greyed out.

Do you mean the field becomes read-only?

Or do you mean when selecting dates on the calendar that pops up for a date or date/time field...past dates are grayed out?

while selecting date only the future day should be visible past dates should me greyed out. Field should be editable.

Hi there,

I'm not aware of such functionality. Out-of-the-box, I would say: not possible. 

(might there be such a thing - or maybe I missed something in New York - let me know)
