I have a service catalog with multiple catalog items in different categories. Access to the catalog is to multiple groups and each group has their own specific catalog items.
Up until recently all the items were just in the "General" category. But i had a request from 1 group to create different categories to arrange their catalog items. When i did this however i ran into a problem that when some users open the catalog they get the message "You do not have permission to see this category".
Example:
Categories: "Ask Help" , "General"
"Ask help" - Cat item "I have a question" - Available for Group 1; not available for group 2
"General" - Cat item "General request" - Available for Group 2; not available for group 1
When group two opens the service catalog they see the General Category but they get the message "You do not have permission to see this category".
This i understand is because they don´t have access to any item within the "Ask Help" category.
Any suggestions on how to have users not getting that message when they open the catalog?
The groups don't share any categories that i can make the first category.
