When trying to add the public role to workspace access, I get this error.
It seems to not want me to add the public role, and I can't save it if I remove all roles. How can I open up a Workspace to all users?

Hi @Mark Endsley ,
You can assign public role to workspace to grant the access.
Public role means anyone can see it even if they don't have a ServiceNow login and also no role they have to authenticate to ServiceNow.
You need to use any other role or create custom role and grant the permission to respective users.

When I try to assign the public role I get the error message listed above.
creating a role and adding to to all user accounts may be an option, but I would prefer to find a more elegant solution.

The error might be coming from another issue may be, did you try to connect with System Administrator.

If I impersonate System Administrator and try to add the public role it still throws the same error. Is that what you mean for me to try?
