How to migrate data from one instance to another instance

When migrating from one legacy instance to another new instance via clone, how do you move the ticket updates that are left behind on the legacy instance from when you start the clone to when you are live on the new  instance?

Is there a way to export the delta of tickets from the legacy instance into the new instance so the updates and changes to tickets are not lost?

You can export your a list of record as xml format from source instance and import the exported xml file to target instance:

1) Export xml:

find_real_file.png

2) import the xml file to target instance:

find_real_file.png

XML is not an option from the report I have created. Why?

XML export/import is first option for us after clone, but we also have multiple xml files for reference field tables update.

Import Set is our second option using CSV or XML.

I recommend to use XML export/import because you can save transform map step on Import Set approach
