How to remove Additional Comment and replace all with Work Notes as primary in Portal,Classic & WS ?

Hi All,

The requirement is to remove "Additional Comment" and replace all with Work Notes as primary in Portal, Classic & Workspace. 

Is it possible ? is so then how we could achieve this ? 

Removing the field will be the the global impact or can do it for specific ( limited to) View ?

This is portal and on portal, the additional comments are primary for end users. The worknotes are for internal team.

I checked in my PDI (Personal Developer Instance) and found that "WN" is set as the primary. Has any configuration already been done in your instance?

My friend, as I said, if you remove this, how will your end user communicate with you? Also, if I am a fulfiller, then why do I use the Portal? I will use the native view.

Buddy, you need to understand that it is fundamentally wrong to take back the privileges of the end user to interact with the fulfiller.

Thanks for your explanation, I do understand what you are saying but the client says Additional comment is today is used only when for 3rd party vendors or for partners and as ITIL user I should have worknotes as Primary and remove Additional comments field from Portal and classic.
