How to Replace a OOB widget in service portal?

Hi all, 

I have requirement where I have to replace an OOB widget with custom widget in a csm walk-up portal. I have cloned an OOB Check-In widget and made modification as per requirement and want to replace with custom one. How do I achieve this?

Hi Siddharam,

To replace OOB widget with custom one please follow below steps:

Open OOB Widget

Clone the widget and make necessary changes.

Go to the Instance of OOB widget

In instance of that page, under widget field remove OOB widget and select custom widget

Save

This will add your custom widget to that page.

And how to procede if we have several instances of the widget on several pages? Is there a way to avoid to replace one by one ?
