How to save form without entering mandatory fields

Hi All,

In the Service Portal form user want to submit or save the form even mandatory fields are not filled.

Please help me with how to achieve this scenario .?

Hi Rameshnathan,you can make those mandatory fields non-mandatory to achieve this.
Because to submit a form,it is compulsory to fill all mandatory fields.

Hi

This is not in the catalog form, we need to do this in the form widget.

 we should not make fields as non-mandatory but system should allow a user to save without entering data

Where the field are marked mandatory and How?Is it OOB?

You need to search for it and made them non-mandatory because we can save a form without filling non-mandatory field.
Ex:We are requesting an item.We need to make all fields non-mandatory by going to maintain items.
Do same thing here and made all fields non-mandatory so user can save form without filling all data.
You can also make a button on click of which you can hide data you don't want to fill

Hi there,

Can you explain your question a bit more? I mean, those variables are mandatory with a reason I assume? So why should the user be able to non fill those fields?

You could think of workarounds, like making fields conditionally mandatory, maybe with an extra a checkbox to disable that mandatory, etc.. Though, ask why.
