How to search Knowledge articles using Category in the Incident Management Table?

I am trying to search knowledge articles from the Incident Management Modules. The related searches are already an out of the box field. I need to use Configuration Item or Category as an alternative to use to relate and search a knowledge article.

You can design your own Contextual Search to use.

You can use some of the out of the box searchers, and then combine that with a new Search Context where you define that you may want to match Configuration Item on Incident to Configuration Item in KB etc.

Hi Nilanjan,

Please follow below steps to create related search based on category.

1.In application type "Contextual Search"

2.Goto Search Contexts.

3.click on Incident Deflection

4.In table configuration click on incident table

5. In search field create new record for category

save the changes you made.
