How to send "SMS" to user(s) phone number on click of "Send SMS" button.

Hi All,

I have a requirement to configure a field called "MINC SMS" on the Incident form which is "String" field and if user enters the text in that field , and Click on "Send SMS" button , then SMS has to be  triggered to user(s) phone.

 

Can any one suggest how to achieve this requirement?

1.Should i have to create Notification?

2.how to configure UI Actions to achieve this?

You can achieve this with notification scripts using some customization to follow the path you want to use.

OOTB, you can use the free gateways (but no free gateways are currently available for the India region, you may have to purchase an SMS subscription and its API gateway, for eg: textlocal.in).
