How to set Additional Comments field mandatory to fill, whenever incident moved to canceled state.

I have the following requirement:

Whenever an incident is moved to cancelled state, Additional Comments [comments] field should be mandatory to fill.

You can do it via UI policy/. Create it on the Incident table like this and set the action.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG I've done the same. But this is not the requirement, this will set the additional comments field after state is set to cancelled, but we want it to be mandator before state moves to cancelled state.
