How to set HR Task due date to None

My HR Task Template has Due Date set to -- None --. However, when the task gets created, it sets the due date to be the created date, so to the employee, it shows that the task is due "today." 

 

We would like the task to show "No Due Date"

Go to HR template > Switch to Classic UI and Check the Due date.
