How to set "opened by" field to show the default value. For example opened by field should show the name of the user who is raising the ticket.

Right click on that field and personalize dictionary. Then you can do as Brian suggested.

Are you saying that your Opened_By field is *not* showing the name of the person who created the record?

Hi,
As said, it is set up with the default value as the logged in user who inserted the record 1st time.
You can overwrite this value in your server side script (BS Rule) and update according to your requirement or logic.

Hi,
In 'default value' tab the field 'use dynamic value' is available for only 'Advanced' View.. but I don't have advance view in my instance so how can i solve this??
and i need to make it Read only.
