How to Update the fields of REQ

Hi All,
I am working on the workflow which has approvals like L1 Approval and L2 Approval(User Approval).
The requirement is if L1 Approval member Rejected the Request then, the fields of Request Form like
Approval Should be 'Rejected'
and Approval State should be 'Closed Rejected'
and Some Custom description should be added and workflow will be End.
I am trying to achieve this using 'set values' activity but I am able to update the fields of RITM but not the fields of REQ.
When I tried to rectify I found that some OOB workflow is also triggering which is regarding some price if it is less than $1000.
Can anyone help me how to achieve this requirement

Greetings!!
One question, when you say L2 (User approval) which user you are referring? Also as per OOTB once RITM get rejected REQ get rejected automatically/ status updated.
In this case you need to create a new workflow or copy the OOTB (as per your screen shot) and make changes.
