How to use decision table for change approval policy?

Hi Team,

 

I am trying to understand the usage of "Change Management - Approval Policy plugin" which is getting added in Madrid upgrade.

I wanted to know the working of decision tables, what is points input, how does the logic works and how to use that in workflow.

I have gone through release docs but not clear on the logic.

 

Please provide logic path/step used.

Please don't provide those docs again. If any video available that would be great!!

Decision tables were new in Madrid so I don't know if there's any video up yet, but there is a very good developer blog that goes into a bit more detail than the docs: https://developer.servicenow.com/blog.do?p=/post/decisiontrees/

Good Afternoon,

Can Decision Tables be used as part of a run script in a workflow? I have read the Decision Table API documentation and it doesn't seem to work, always returns a empty GlideRecord.
