Identifier is a unique attribute of a table. For example - serial number on computer table : Serial Number can be used as identifier because no two records on computer table will have same serial number

search is just an operation to find a particular record in a database.

ok, so we have Identifier as the source table and then Search in table is like what attribute you want to search.

Criteria is on what attributes does it prevent duplication.

Quick question :  I have my duplicates on Unmatched CI class

Identifier : sn_sec_cmn_unmatched_ci

Search in table :  ??

The search in table is the table where the Criterion attributes reside

If serial number is criterion attribute then determine if that serial number is in the same class or another related class. you need to add that class in Search in table
