how we can segregate data in servicenow instance based on REGION of Users logging in

i have requirement to divide access of ServiceNow data based on Region of the users logged in
Person of Americas region should view the same instance as person of ASIA region
But the data/tables etc. should be different
Any way we can achieve it in ServiceNow

Why so? As per me, need to create custom roles and assigned to those role to different locations user and tables as well but itwill be huge work, not only role, ACL need to update / create.
