I have one question on alm_asset Table

Hi there,

  I have one requirement, in that i need to add CPU Type and Memory fields on alm_asset Table List View

how can i add these field on list i have tried by list layout but i not able to see those fields.

Hi @Priya madyapgol ,

I think the alm_asset table is used to track the financials and whereas the CPU Type and Memory fields would be there on the Configuration Table.

What you can do is that you can dot walk the fields into the list layout by following the below steps.

go to ALM_ASSET table, right-click on the header and go to configure --> List Layout.

Then select the configuration Item and choose the symbol that was highlighted, it will show all the fields in the cmdb_ci and you can choose the respective fields of your choice.

 I did dot walk for Computer table in the List layout and got the CPU type field on List its correct, but i'm not able to get Memory field in configuration list.

 How can i get Memory field which should come from computer Table.

Here, i'm unable to find Memory field from Computer Table.

Please help me on this

Hi @Priya madyapgol ,

I think memory is nothing but RAM and ROM. I think you have both in the List as RAM and Disk Space.

Navigate to List Layout and there you can find Configuration Item Field. Expand it to get the required fields in your list.
