I want to validate the query is not editable by using ATF

Hi Team,

I wanted to check the query is not editable on sysapprover_approval list by using ATF.

and want to validate the field is editable or not on the list.

Need your help on this.

You can use following steps:

1. Impersonate with required user.

2. Open the form.

3. Use "Field State Validation".

Thanks for your response, But I am asking about to check the query in the list is not editable and list in the field is not editable.

In the list you can not validate. 
For this validation you need to open specific record and the validate.

Hi,

 

If you are referring to the list view, then I don't believe I don't think there is any ATF step that does this. Validating filter write capability or field read-only capability on list view is not possible on ATF.

 

I will subscribe to this article just incase someone proes me wrong as that would be very useful.
