iCalendar (.ics) file and email body

I have succeeded in getting an iCalendar attachment (.ics file) on an email message. Now, however, the body of the email is empty. Is there a way to populate the body of the email message AND attach an .ics file on the same email?

Hi,

I have also configured iCalendar for one of my client and its working as expected. You can refer below url :

I have given detail steps for configuring the same.

Thanks for your help.

I believe I did all that. As I indicated, the .ics file itself is attached to the email and contains the right date/time information. However, the body of the email itself is empty. The content in the email notification's "message" field instead shows up in the body of the iCalendar object, which is fine, except I would also like this content in the body of the email message, so that it can be seen without opening the .ics file.

I tried to load the .xml of your update set. I went to Update Sets (list view), and did "Import XML", but the update set did not show up. How do I load this import set?

Cheers,

Belay that last question, I got the xml update set to import properly. Thanks!

Hi,

In blog, I have created custom table and template for demo purpose.

As per your previous comments, I'll suggest you to check the template content.
