iCalendar (.ics) file and email body

I have succeeded in getting an iCalendar attachment (.ics file) on an email message. Now, however, the body of the email is empty. Is there a way to populate the body of the email message AND attach an .ics file on the same email?

By chance anyone knows how to disable the option of response in the meeting invite "Accept" , "Tentative" and "decline" automatically though Vcalendar/.ics and still i see the attachment in mycalendar

Within the email template, do you see a line that contains RSVP=TRUE?   Try changing the TRUE to FALSE.

Here is what that line looks like in my message:

ATTENDEE;ROLE=REQ-PARTICIPANT;RSVP=FALSE:MAILTO:${to}
