Idea portal configuration

My requirement is to add catalog item in a idea portal ? 
I have added catalog item in a category but not works.
any help appreciated

If I am not wrong, it will be similar like we do for Service Portal? We need to add catalog in idea portal related tab.

Sorry for confusion, I set up Idea portal in my PDi and tried to add but it is not working.

It bring other question, what is business case to show catalog on idea portal, the purpose of idea portal to get / log the idea.
