Hello,
I created a custom relationship that will display all shared child tickets in different parent tickets. You may refer in the image below for the table related list.
In the image there are 3 different parent tickets and they share 3 same child tickets. Is there a way to identify which parent ticket did the user accessed or opened the child ticket from?
Sample scenarios:
- Open Parent 1. In the related list, open Child 2. In the Child 2 form, identify the initial Parent ticket opened which is Parent 1.
- Open Parent 2. In the related list, open the same Child 2 record. In the Child 2 form, identify the initial Parent ticket opened which is Parent 2.
Thanks,

By nature, parent-child is a one-to-many relationship. How can a child record have multiple parents? Are you using some custom functionality for that. If so, how exactly does it work?

all child tickets share a common value (from parent) in a field and we used that in the custom relationship
