If any CI is marked as retired, is it removed from Duplicate of field?

Hi All,

Can anyone please suggest that; if any CI is marked as retired, is it removed from Duplicate of field? and how?

I am not sure here, but in these case the best thought is try this option / solution in PDI and see what happens.
