In Normal Change ,How to skip CAB Approval

Hi ,I have a query to discuss on normal change,

I want to skip CAB approval or I want some other group to approve change request .How can I achieve this?

Hello,

you can achieve it by modifying Change Approval Policy record.

• Table: Change Approval Policies [chg_policy_approval]
• Name: Normal Change Policy
• Sys ID: 5b06ce5db701230034d1da23ee11a965

Conditions for assignment are located in Decisions tab on Change Approval record.

I can make CAB approval inactive ,correct?

Yes, also you have to configure other decisions per your needs. 

Just check the documentation I included in my first post to get more understanding how the logic works.

On Change Approval Policy there is Execution field which specifies if all decisions should run or only the first based on their order.

Hello @Community Alums, yes, you can mark 'Require CAB Approval' to False, if you wish to stop CAB approval (plz refer the SS shared by Martin); also, change the approval definition if group to be changed:
