inbound email action condition for empty target / table?

Hi,


We are trying to setup an email to go out as a reply to anyone that emails the instance email address where the email has not done anything (stuck in limbo) i.e. Target was empty , Target table was empty etc in sys_email table.

 

We have tried this via inbound action with condition as Target = (left this blank to see if it will work) and seperately Target = null , these have not triggered the inbound action email. 

We have tried the same via flow designer and notification both which haven't worked, it seems like we can't select a condition 'is empty' as it doesn't exist and there is only is or is not due to Target field being a reference type field.

 

Is there any other way we can try that is possible?

Hi Ahmet 

 

Please set the Action type -> Reply email. Now you don't have to select any target table. You can add conditions on "When to Run" tab to trigger this whenever someone is mailing to instance email address.

This is what we are doing, what we want is set the when to run condition to when Target field is blank / empty. We have tried the above as leaving it empty , putting null and this condition still doesn't trigger.

For anyone that is looking for a fix, we have a workaround in place rather than putting empty, we put in is not condition for every single target table field that has occured in the last 12 months. Anything other than this would be empty so this is working for now.

could you please send me a screenshot of the conditions you have set and a screenshot of the sys_email with the target field visible?
I'm not sure to have understand well what do you mean with "foe every single table field".
