I want to build a dashboard where the user will be able to enter incident number in the search field to check the status of the incident. Can this search bar feature be added to the dashboard/report?
basically, this is possible. Inside my Share project Open record page by Sys ID you can find a self-implemented dashboard widget that allows searching for Sys IDs. You can take this as a blueprint and adopt it to your needs.
