We have a small use-case where we instead of customizing a shipped components would like to interact with it from "the sideline" using our own flow.
The process involves approvals, and if certain conditions match then we would like to automatically approve, we can already now allow a flow to approve on behalf of someone but could we prevent the approval notification from even happening if we were fast enough or using some other method. Remember that we don't want to customize the flow trigger or notification templates etc?
One option i'm considering now while typing is to replace the users in the actual approval group for a placeholder user or service account, and allow our flow to instead append with additional approvers in case manual approval is needed. One drawback is if that group also is allowing the access to the app itself.
Any other ideas?
