Is ServiceNow incompatible with Firefox? Or is SN just fixing things that were never broken?

Hello, everyone.

Ever since my company's ServiceNow instance was upgraded to Vancouver, the UI in the UI Designer has become as user-unfriendly as it could be.

Problem 1:

In previous versions, as soon as I type the "@" symbol, the field would automatically switch from static input to data binding. In Vancouver, that's apparently no longer the case.

Problem 2:

When I try to configure an event handler, if I start from the top instead of the bottom, the UI won't even let me click on the "data binding" button. When I try to move my cursor to the "data binding" button, the button simply disappears. I have to save the change and then return to the dialogue box, which slows me down for no good reason what-so-ever.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue? If yes, is this issue unique to Firefox? Or does it happen regardless of your browsers?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @C_dric Chen

It's not only firefox 🙂

Luckily, the first one is just 1 an additional click, the second one is a bit more annoying, but you can navigate to the button using Tab on your keyboard.

Only other advice I can give you is to create a case for Now Support, to get this resolved.
