Hi Team,
We would like to know if there is any way to configure email notifications to send email notifications to a DL instead of group members. As we know we can configure notifications to send individual users, users/groups in fields, and to Groups. But if we want to send a notification to a DL(email distribution list) which has the dl email id with in the same client network domain. Fox ex: client is 'abc' and DL is 'test@abc.com). Is there any way to configure it? Currently there is no group for this team in ServiceNow to configure email notification for this group DL.
Appreciate your assistance in advance.
Thanks,
Rao.

Another way we use when it is a DL we will be utilizing alot is to create a ServiceNow user (no roles), lock the account (so no one can log in as it) and for the email address add the DL. For example we might have a "user" called "IT Management" with an email of the DL email address that we use on Watch lists, etc.
Also, remember to make sure your DL is "externally enabled" to make sure Service Now can reach it.
Hope this helps.
