Issue: Categories Visible in Service Portal but Not in Native Self service-service catalog

I’m experiencing an issue where all service catalog categories appear as expected in the Service Portal, but in the native Service Catalog view, some categories are missing.

  • Each category has at least one active catalog item assigned.
  • When impersonating the affected user, they can see all categories in the Service Portal but not in the native Self service-service catalog.
  • There are no role restrictions preventing access.

is this normal? or is there a setting or configuration that could be causing this discrepancy? Any insights would be greatly appreciated
