Hello,
I am experiencing some issues with our knowledge module - to start, I have setup permissions on all of our knowledge bases (we have many knowledge bases), using User Criteria.
My first issue is that users that do not have "Can Contribute" access can select that knowledge base when creating a new knowledge article - see screenshot below. The user can select that knowledge base, however when trying to Submit, they cannot and get the error message. I ran User Criteria diagnostics and the user only has read access.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Check with Can read once, try adding some criteria in Can read of Knowledge base and check once.

Hello,
Thanks for the response!
Ok I think that you helped identify the problem. Once I add user criteria to the Can Read tab (which restricts read access for this test user), now the user cannot select that knowledge base. Is this a defect?
If a user just has Read-only access to the knowledge base, it seems like a defect that they would be able to select that knowledge base when creating an article, even if it does end up giving them an error message when they try to save the article.
