List Choices from Another Table

Hi,

I have a Choice column in one table and want to use its choice list for options in another table.  When the column type in the first table is Choice, then I see the Choice List Specification tab in the second table and can access the choices by selecting the first table via Choice Table and the desired column via Choice Field.  So, when only one choice is needed, everything works fine.  However, I need the field on the form referring to this column to allow multiple choices.  As I understand it, Choice columns allow only one selection, but List columns allow multiple selections.  When I try to access the column on the first table from a column on the second table with a List type, then the Choice List Specification tab no longer has the options for Choice Table and Choice Field.  How might I be able to do this?  I don't want to have to create a separate choice list on the second table if I can leverage the one on the first table.

Hi @williambmat,

just an idea, what user have you used for testing? Isn't it possible that the user doesn't have the read rights to the choice table? 

Please describe closer who does what and what are the choices taken from..
