In our custom portal there are features where content creators can assign icons to a particular table driven configuration. We would like to use embedded SVG tags instead of an image tag when we render the icons so that we can use CSS to accomplish hover affects.
The table is pretty simple, it is just a name and "SVG" field. I created a Formatter that renders the SVG so the user can see that the image looks as expected. I would also like to render the SVG in the list view just like images render in the db_image list.
I'd love to hear if anyone has accomplished anything similar to this. Any custom HTML rendering in a list view could be helpful, not just SVG.
