Locations table field names

When viewing lists of locations by Location type:

If the location is a Room, I want the list view to show Floor (parent of room) and Building (parent of floor).

And if the location is a Floor, I want the list to show Building (parent of floor).

Currently, I can show Parent and Parent.Parent in the list layout, but both columns are labeled Parent and it's confusing. I can also show Parent.Location type after each column, but that isn't all that helpful.

I know I can create separate views for Building, Room and Floor, but is there any way to manipulate the field names based on the Location type? I can't change the label of Parent, since it could be Building or Floor (or any of the other Location types).

It would also be helpful on a Room record to show the fields similarly to the above - rather than Parent, show Floor and Building. And on a Floor record, show Building rather than Parent.
