First off we are using SSO.
Here's my concern Every time I 'logoff' I first get an error message and then when I try again I can log off.
First attempt this is what i get
..and when i click on the logout button here's the message now

You may be having an issue with the re-direction URL when Logout operation is executed....
Try replacing all the highlighted parts with "logout_success.do" under single sign-on properties.
Its an internal ServiceNow page URL and may not have any issues.
So, after the changes if you still face the issue? then we will debug further.
If not? then its probably an issue with the SSO Portal or Proxy settings on your laptop that prevents you from seeing your SSO Portal (External URL) of your company.
