Making Request Item in the Catalog Task previewable

When I open a task from Request Item, the Request has an Info icon where I can then Preview the record.  However, the Request Item does not (see image).  Both of them are Reference fields.  I don't understand why it does not have the Info icon/link...  what am I missing? 😞

Hi @MWright1

I'm not an expert, but when I check the RITM Number dictionary, it takes me to the Task table where the number is stored as a string. That's why it's not showing where the Request Number is on the sc_task table, as it is a reference field. We need to perform a dictionary override for the RITM Number and change its type to Reference.

Hi @Dr Atul G- LNG ,

Thank you for responding.

The table is sc_task (Catalog task), not task, although it inherits from task table.  The field in question is not the Number field - this needs to be string because this is the number of the task.

In the sc_task table, there is a field called Request item (request_item) and it is a Reference type pointing to Requested Item (sc_req_item) table.

My question relates to this field - even though it is a Reference table, the Info (icon) does not show up and I am wondering there is a way to have it show.

Thanks much!

M
