Maximum hours per day

I want to be able to set this field to more than 24 hours per day.  If I have an employee who forgets to enter their time one week, I want them to be able to make a correcting entry the following week and add the time they missed to that week.  The system it not letting them catch up on the time they missed if it exceeds 24 hours.  

Is there a way to make this more than 24 hours on the time sheet policy?  I made it more than 24, but it seems to be enforcing 24 anyway.

I have not.  As a matter of fact, I cannot let anyone enter more than 16 hours in 1 day.  It appears to be a system limitation.
