Microstrategy reporting

Hello all,

I have a requirement for data to be pulled from our ServiceNow instance to Microstrategy, for reporting / visualisation. Our reporting team would like to use ODBC rather than web services. My assumption is that they would need to install the ODBC driver, and then Miscrostategy can make use of this as would any other application (eg Excel, Access). My question is - can anyone offer advice / guidance on using ODBC with Microstrategy in particular? Any pointers / things to look out for would be much appreciated.

Hi.

 

Better approach is to consume REST API provided by  MicroStrategy to push data from service now to microstategey.
