Migrate a new topic to test instance but getting error: This topic version is not supported on...

I sent a promotion to test of a new topic for the VA. The engineer in charge promoted it but now when I tried to open the topic, I receive this error: This topic version is not supported on this instance. Check with your ServiceNow Administrator for assistance.

 

*Note; I'm new with virtual agent. I know that the test instance is on Washington version and dev is Utah.

 

how can I fix that?

Hi there,

 

This is due to a version difference, and therefor won't work. It's like that. Solve the version difference 😀

@Gil6 There is no way to fix it, ideally your dev, test and prod should be on the same ServiceNow release as differences in these versions can cause compatibility issues.

so, basically, dev, test and prod should be in Washington instance?

@Gil6 Yes, they all should be on the same release. This way incompatibility related issues can be avoided.
